While thousands of Americans are dying daily now because of the virus, your behavior is despicable.

You’re golfing instead of trying to manage an effort to defend lives.

You’re bragging with lies about how well we’re doing in the United State compared to other developed countries, when the evidence shows we are far, far behind most of them.

You’re saying that you can’t spend more time on virus-related issues because they are “distracting.”

You’re ignoring the fact that African Americans and other people of color are dying at much higher rates than whites. Yes, white are dying too. That’s not the point. How about acknowledging racial disparity?

You’re hiding data from Americans, wiping out the CDC website for a time, making sure that CDC never receives the real number of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.

You’re misrepresenting the advice of Dr. Fauci and others.

You’re fighting against using additional money to fix the testing (and analysis) and contract tracing problems.

No national plan. No declaration of emergency. Nothing. Where’s that “stable genius” of yours when we need it?

Why aren’t the complicit Republicans in the Senate forcing your hand?

Dear Callousness,

People are dying from Covid-19 because of your lack of empathy and your continued lies.

There’s that 30-year-old man who went to a Covid-19 “party” because he believed Covid-19 was a hoax, thanks to you. He’s dead now. How many more will die before you show some semblance of human feeling?

But wait! Instead, you re-Tweet the asinine statement of a game-show host that CDC is “lying” about the dangers of Covid-19.

For your purposes, what could be better than having your followers believe that the federal government in charge of fighting disease lies to them? Don’t you love to feed the paranoia of your base? The hell with their lives.

Other lies: your continuous statements that the US has the virus under control.

The truth: The United States has one of the highest rates of COVID-19 deaths per capita in the world. In the United States, more than 139,000 people have died from Covid-19, and our death rate of 425 deaths/1 million population is seventh worst among all the world’s 200 countries.

Here in the United States, we are suffering from more than twice the death rate of Iran.

We are grieving for our lost family members at about four times the death rate of Germany.

We are attending funerals of people who died from Covid-19 at five times the rate of Austria and South Africa and seven times the rate of Saudi Arabia and Hungary.

Why Republicans allowed you, the most corrupt, incompetent, and lying person ever to occupy the Oval Office, to continue in that role is beyond me, but we will remove them from Congress in November.

Dear Cheater-in-Chief,

It comes of no surprise that you cheated and had someone take your SATs for you. You’ve lived your life by cheating.

Cheating, as in coordinating with the Russians and others to violate U.S. election laws and help you get elected.

Cheating, as robbing the Trump Organization contractors repeatedly, not paying them what was promised.

Cheating, as creating an entirely fraudulent “Trump University,” ripping off men and women who trusted you.

Cheating, as in repeatedly violating your oath of office.

Cheating, as in claiming fake bone spurs, making sure that someone else – probably a person of color – went to Vietnam instead of you.

A “stable genius” doesn’t need to pay someone to take the SATs for him.

If you were really the top student that you pretend you were, release all your school records.

Dear Mr. Trump

You are a clear and present danger to American life and American democracy.

I have been writing to you about this from the very beginning of your administration. Go back and reread my letters:

4/15/17            I called you “a danger to our allies and the entire planet.” Don’t you remember? That hasn’t changed.

5/27/17            I warned you that “your behavior continues to create new harms and existential dangers for all of us.” Now that so many have died of Covid-19, which you disparaged, that sadly seems prophetic, doesn’t it?

8/11/18            I bemoaned “your chaotic and dangerous presidency,” but it has become only more chaotic and dangerous in the last two years.

1/19/19            I properly identified you as the cause of “intense difficulty, trouble, or danger.” That hasn’t changed.

1/28/19            I sadly commented that “you haven’t learned how you endangered lives, wrecked businesses, put a damper on the economy.” Sadly prophetic, isn’t it, with the economy now in a depression that could have been avoided.

7/26/19            I disparaged you as “a great danger to the very existence of this country.” And it’s still true, as you secretly telephone Putin, begging him for more help to steal the election and defeat democracy, as you turn your back on the murder of American soldiers hire that Putin has funded.

If you don’t want to thumb through all the letters you receive to find these, then I suggest you buy a copy of Return to Sender: 224 Unanswered Letters to the White House. Supposedly, you can afford it, as it’s only $11.03. If you had just one ounce of decency and one brain cell for every penny that this collection costs, we would all be a lot better off, and you wouldn’t be so dangerous.

Dear Heartless-in-the-White House,

Heartless, because your self-interested proclamations that the virus “will disappear like magic” has encouraged people to expose themselves and others to life-ending disease.

As of this morning, there have been more than 123,000 coronavirus deaths in the United States.

Many of those lives would have been saved had you cared enough to model mask-wearing, for example. Had you not repeatedly lied. Had you truly listened to experts.

More lives will be lost because of your Tulsa campaign rally, where your campaign stripped the warnings posted on the arena chairs that would have allowed greater social distancing. Human health and life – the wellbeing of real people in this country – has never been at the top of your list of priorities. It’s never been on your list at all.

And in the midst of 2.5 million Americans who’ve contracted the virus – clearly the worst per capita disease rate in the world among developed countries – you tell Pence to brag about our supposed “truly remarkable progress.” You have him talk about “the encouraging news.”

To you, Trump, it’s encouraging news that more people are dying. That’s why you’re known now and forever will be known as “Heartless-in-the-White House.”

Dear His-Royal-Phoniness,

Recognizing that you are losing badly, you’re already alleging – without a shred of evidence other than the speculation of your phony Attorney General – that the 2020 election will be marked by voter fraud due to the use of mail-in ballots.

The only fraud, however, is you. You coordinated with Russia thugs to help you win the 2016 election and you’re begging help from China’s dictator to allow you to cheat again in 2020.

So it’s clear that you’re conditioning your base to discount the validity of the 2020 election that you will lose. And, not believing in the validity of the election, you hope that your base will make governing impossible. It’s the same strategy with which you attacked the validity of President Obama’s occupancy of the White House.

Just when you’ve done every despicable thing that can be imagined, you find a way to lower yourself further.

No lie is too brazen, no crime too horrific, no threat to our democracy too outrageous for you to avoid engaging in same.

The American voters’ disgust with you grows by leaps and bounds.

Dear Mr. Trump,

How unfortunate that you do not value the lives of the people who support you! If you actually valued their lives, you wouldn’t be holding a campaign rally in a crowded indoor auditorium this Saturday. If you cared about their lives, you wouldn’t be encouraging people not to wear face masks.

Obviously, you don’t care. As I have often pointed out, you don’t have a shred of human empathy in your makeup.

You know that people will die because of attending this rally in Tulsa. That’s why you won’t let anyone in unless they sign an “assumption of risk” form purportedly absolving you of liability for your campaign’s gross negligence and reckless conduct.

When people die, however, they will still sue your campaign and still get their cases in front of a jury. One doesn’t need to have legal training – as I do – to be able to read the applicable Oklahoma statute:

The defense of contributory negligence or of assumption of risk shall, in all cases whatsoever, be a question of fact, and shall at all times be left to the jury, unless a jury is waived by the parties. 2014 Oklahoma Statutes § 23-12.

What excuses will you give these juries, who will see thousands of their fellow Oklahomans having become ill and died as a result of your selfish behavior?

Dear Mr. Trump,

Only someone truly sick, truly evil, truly clueless, and truly racist could declare that George Floyd was looking down from heaven and deciding that “this was a great thing.”

He was murdered for being black, and you have the temerity, the gall, the complete lack of empathy, the utter lack of human feeling, to say that he’s looking down and saying that “this was a great thing”?

Never in my life have I been as disgusted with another person as I am with you now.

And why don’t we hear an outcry from the Republicans in Congress? Why aren’t they equally outraged at you? Why did they cravenly let you remain in office?

They have fallen to below your low level by groveling at your feet.

So you will take the entire Republican Party down with you in November.
