How fitting that the person who trademarked “You’re fired!” should get such joy out of firing everyone in the federal government he doesn’t like.

Fire all the US Assistant Attorneys from the DC US Attorneys office and give joy to the criminals that would otherwise be prosecuted there!

Fire all the air traffic controllers whom you wrongly accuse of incompetence and see how many more mid-air collisions you can cause!

Fire all the federal workforce that sends out Social Security checks and tax refunds and see how happy all those who can’t get their benefits become!

Fire the attorneys in the Civil Rights Division of the US Department of Justice and welcome back the Ku Klux Klan, which can now burn crosses and black churches with impunity!

Yes, law-abiding citizens who voted for you will suffer. You could care less.

Dear First Felon:

Sadly, it doesn’t surprise me in the least that you would – without a shred of evidence – accuse DEI programs as the cause of yesterday’s fatal plane crash near National Airport.

Let’s put aside for the moment that you have no idea how this accident occurred. Your assumptions about the cause of the accident itself are hateful.

But, as to DEI, since you are willfully ignorant there, too, I will explain the truth: DEI programs increase safety and responsibility. They help ensure that people who are actually qualified for a job have a chance to find the jobs commensurate with their talents. What deceases safety is white privilege, which puts unqualified white people ahead of others more qualified, simply because of their skin color. Yes, I know you have a strong preference for those descended from Northern European countries, but – mark this! – aviation accidents happened long before anyone ever conceived of idea of DEI.

I could give you a long list of aviation accidents associated only with Caucasians, but let’s just refer, for example, to the Hindenburg disaster.

You have managed to insult every person of color in the United States, every woman, every gay person, every minority. How presidential of you, sir!

It makes sense that you would appoint a science denier to the most important scientifically-oriented department of the United States government.

It makes sense that you would appoint a conspiracy theorist to your cabinet.

It makes sense that you would want an alleged rapist in your cabinet.

In your view, laws are for only the suckers of the world to abide by.

So your oath to abide by the laws and Constitution of the United States is laughable … or would be if it didn’t mean that your plan is to oppress the oppressed and use the U.S. military to accomplish that oppression.

Dear First Felon,

Is there no cruelty you cannot imagine inflicting on American citizens? Someone born in the United States, who may have lived here his or her entire life – maybe even older than my 74 years – is now supposedly subject to deportation because you have decided to do away with the 14th Amendment?

If it’s that easy to eliminate the protections of the United States Constitution, then I say – when the Democrats get in power again – they should by Executive Order end the 2nd Amendment. How would you like that? I mean, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right? Some amendment that you don’t like … just issue an Executive Order and it’s gone.

We will keep this in mind for use down the road.

Dear First Felon,

I wonder how it feels to be the first convicted felon to occupy the Oval Office. It goes along with so many other firsts you have achieved!

First president to be impeached twice!

First president to deny the reality of climate change!

First president who sent this followers to storm the Capitol!

First president to threaten an ally with a military takeover of its territory!

Unfortunately, not the first president to lie his way into office, but then you can’t be first in everything, can you?
